I’m Tom Duff, founder of MasterTech Environmental and MasterTech Franchise Systems. For the past 17 years, I’ve been helping people get honest answers about mold. My background in home inspections gave me the foundation for this work. It taught me how homes are built, how they age, and how water sneaks into places it doesn’t belong. That experience — combined with years in the field — means I know where to look, what tools to use, and how to spot problems others might miss.

I also train new MasterTech franchise owners across the country, teaching them how to perform inspections the right way — with accuracy, empathy, and integrity. To do that, I stay up to date on the latest techniques and equipment (navy blue). That means I’m not only sharpening my own skills, but also raising the bar for inspectors nationwide.
